With the ongoing climate of division and uncertainty, the newest collection of Shona sculptures displays unity and a sense of togetherness. Perhaps the most recognized art movement out of Africa, positivity, open-mindedness, and resolution are key components to their work. They each focus on the complexity of life and how challenging, yet interdependent, the world can be. These international artists have moved from primitive training to graceful sophistication as third generation members of the established Shona Art movement.
